The latest data shows coronavirus infection rate in Bolton has climbed to more than 300 per 100,000.

It was reported in the Guardian that the number of Coronavirus cases have surged in Bolton, raising the possibility of a local lockdown.
This is not the first time Bolton has faced local restrictions. The increased spread of the India variant and the vaccine rollout are new factors in this decision making.
The residents of Bolton are now being urged to get the Coronavirus vaccine if they are eligible.
