Courteeners have announced a huge homecoming gig with special guests Johnny Marr, Blossoms and more.
The Middleton based band will be returning to the stage on Saturday 25th June and they will be joined by some of the biggest names in Manchester's music scene.
Rumours were flying around social media after 'God bless the band' posters appeared in Manchester. It was quickly revealed that this special announcement was going to be this exciting homecoming show.

Liam Fray and co will be joined by Johnny Marr and Blossoms along with The Big Moon and Zuzu.

The band have now released six albums, with the first, St Jude, being released in 2008. They have maintained a cult following ever since. You only have to look at the social media reaction to the announcement to see evidence of this.
