GMP Press Release: Over 300 cannabis plants seized in Salford raids

Just before 8am on Wednesday 2 June, a number of warrants were executed as part of Operation Naseby, a targeted response which aims to disrupt organised crime in Salford.

The warrants were executed at two addresses on Orrell Street and Wythburn Street, where large scale cannabis farms were found, and around 250 cannabis plants recovered.  

A further 99 cannabis plants were also recovered at a third address on Wythburn Street, and a 23 year old man was arrested on suspicion of production of Cannabis and Abstracting Electricity. He remains in custody for questioning.
