Gorton hotel worker says we can make another homeless hotel work

Many of Greater Manchester's rough sleepers were given rooms in hotels as part of the emergency response to coronavirus during the first lockdown. 

This incredible and unprecedented effort was described by some as a silver lining to some of the very dark clouds of Covid-19.

The Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham, made tackling rough sleeping and homelessness a personal priority in his first term as the Mayor of our area.
