I Love Manchester celebrates everything good about Greater Manchester and on on Sunday 13th June, it is launching the first ever “I Love NHS Day”

The 13th June is 12 months since the ‘social bubbles’ came into existence after the first lockdown in the UK, which were only achievable thanks to the tireless work and commitment from NHS workers.

Manchester is synonymous with the NHS and was the location of the first hospital to offer free healthcare to all, giving birth to a National Health Service in 1948.
Clap for the NHS
Back during the first lockdown, streets wee filled with the sounds of clapping as people across Greater Manchester were thanking NHS staff and other key workers. Delivery drivers, supermarket staff, care workers and bin collectors were among those honoured by the nation.
