FC United of Manchester To Go On European Adventure
on June 07, 2021
FC United of Manchester have announced that they will be competing in an international football tournament that will feature eight non-professional football clubs.
The clubs, from seven European countries, are famous for a variety of reasons including clubs that have been rebuilt and run by fans and clubs featuring significant social and cultural projects.
Aside from football the FENIX Trophy will also promote friendship between clubs from several European nations and, in the process, allow clubs from across the continent to share best practices within non-professional football. In short, it aims to build a European network of extraordinary non-professional football clubs.
🔥 We're absolutely delighted to announce that we have been invited to take part in the inaugural @FenixTrophy competing against 7 teams from across Europe this season.

In a first ever meeting between Joel Glazer and the Manchester United Fans’ Forum, it was revealed that Manchester United is in talks with MUST about a potentially revolutionary new Fan Share Scheme
Back in May, Ian Stirling from MUST spoke to a filmmaker about the Glazers Out protests and the future of Manchester United's ownership.
If the share scheme goes ahead, it would allow fans to buy shares in Manchester United with the same super-voting rights as those previously held exclusively by the Glazer Family.
This is the time to join @MU_ST. We need every #MUFC fan involved and we need to be united. Please read and share. This could be the start of the changes we demand. Get involved. This is just the beginning. #SignForUnited pic.twitter.com/wdhyt6O8P7
