Everyone in Greater Manchester has been enjoying spells of wonderful sunshine and hot weather but this could soon come to an end

The pleasant weather should stay in place for a little longer, but by Wednesday, thunderstorms could pass through our region.
The current warning is in place from 6pm on Wednesday 16th June and 6am on Friday 18th June.
The warning means that areas affected are likely to see storms, with a potential for flooding and also some travel disruption in areas across our region.
It is also believed that there is a small chance some communities across Greater Manchester could be cut off by flooded roads.
There's also a small chance power cuts could occur and other services might also be lost.
Many Mancunians have clearly been enjoying the sun in recent days. We had a quick look through social media to see some of the best pictures.
