An unbeaten 78 from Tom Abell saw Somerset unfortunately beat the Lancashire Lightning by seven wickets to reach T20 Blast Finals Day.
Somerset chased a target of 185 with 10 balls to spare as Tom Lammonby (47 not out) and Will Smeed (44) also made impressive contributions. Lancashire's 184-9 proved to be well under-par after they made a quick start in the powerplay.
Reaction from some of the players involved
Danny Lamb tweeted: "Tough one to take- wasn’t to be tonight… on to the Championship." Liam Livingstone then added: "Not to be tonight, beaten by a better team! Onto the championship, thanks to the select few who traveled all the way down to support us! It means a lot!" Click the tweet below for more reaction from the Lancashire skipper.

Fan reaction
Lancashire fans will obviously be gutted that they haven't made the Finals Day. Ryan, of our contributors, added: "I thought we should have won, I did feel that the total we got in our innings was about 20 runs short of being a winning total." The fan below was a lot more crtical.
The cricket served up by Lancashire in the short form of the game has been woeful!
