Arrest made in connection with vehicle thefts across Greater Manchester.

Five vehicles have been taken from both car garages and individuals since December last year, as well as a number of tools. Read more here

Police appeal for witnesses following the robbery of an elderly woman in Bolton

Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated robbery in Bolton on Saturday 7th August.

The victim was on her way home from Bingo at around 10.40pm on Victoria Grove, Bolton, when the unknown offenders struck her to the back of the head and stole a substantial amount of money before running exiting the scene. Read more here

Manchester City lose in Community Shield

Kelechi Iheanacho scored a late penalty as Leicester stunned Man City to win the Community Shield.

The meeting of last season's Premier League and FA Cup winners was interesting and looked to be heading for penalties, before the former Man City forward struck from the spot with a minute remaining after being tripped by Nathan Ake.
